The sermon I heard yesterday (Sunday) about commitment reminded me of the importance of being a Christian writer.

1. We must be committed to God.
2. We must be committed to the writing God has called us to do.
3. We must remember commitment requires discipline and obedience.
4. We must be disciplined to schedule the time needed to write.
5. We must remember to bathe all our writing in prayer.
6. We must be disciplined and obedient to wait for God’s timing for our writing to be published.

As you can tell from the times on my blogs, I have a bad habit of waiting until almost the last minute to write and post my blogs. I am committing to doing them earlier in the day so you, my readers, will actually be able to read them on Mondays and Thursdays.

Commitment, discipline, and obedience are difficult for me. How about you?
